Qt Gui From Thread

Hello, A relative newbie here, working on a project with QT. Install Mysql Using Inno Setup Tutorial there. The GUI part is working nicely, but I also have input that will affect the GUI coming from network commands (using QTcpSocket), keyboard commands, and serial devices. The problem I'm having is that QT dies randomly. And after doing some investigating, I believe the issue is due to QT GUI updates being called from threads other than what the GUI was initialized with, as the app always has problems when there are commands coming from either the network or serial port to update the GUI. So my question is: how do I start up another thread that is dormant from a different one? I understand how to store data that will be accessible via any thread, but the GUI thread is usually only called when the user clicks on part of the GUI. I wouldn't want to just loop all the time and hold that thread hostage, waiting for data to be put there from another thread. Beyonce Live At Revel Dvd Free Download.
